Thank you to everyone who purchased books from the St. Mary Scholastic Book fair. Please go to my Padlet to listen to "Hey That's My Monster". After you are finished, choose one activity to complete and then write a comment below telling me what you did or send me a picture. Have fun!
MONSTER OBSTACLE COURSE - Plan your course inside or outside. Start at the narrator’s “bed” and design a route that takes you to “Emma’s bed”. Be creative! Be sure to add obstacles that you have to hop over, go under, run around and stomp through. Who can make it to Emma’s bed the fastest? MONSTER ROLL CALL - The narrator and Emma call monsters to their room by knocking on the floor. Will a monster arrive if you knock on the floor? One partner knocks on the floor to call a monster. The other partner appears as one of the monsters from the story. Choose to act like Gabe, Agatha, Cynthia, Vladimir or Stella. Can your partner guess which monster you are? CREATE YOUR OWN MONSTER - Using a dice (or picking a number from a hat if you don't have one) create a monster following the picture below. Hi Kindergarteners! I know you like to laugh and like silly books so I decided to choose two books I had at home that my own kids love. Please go to my padlet and listen to the stories. Then follow my example to make up an animal of your own and send it to my email or post it in my comments.

Your assignment for this week is to think of something special you could do for your mom and either comment on my blog, comment on my padlet or send me a video telling me because I love seeing your faces! Have a great week!
